What happens when you visit
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. When you open a page, your browser sends technical details: IP address, time, the address requested, browser type and the country the request comes from.
We need those details to serve the page, protect it against attacks and show you the right language version. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The country of your request is used only to send you to the language version that suits you. We do not store it.
Cookies and your consent
We set advertising and statistics cookies only once you have agreed. On your first visit we ask you through a small panel at the edge of the screen.
Your answer is kept in your browser's local storage under the name gl_consent so we do not have to ask again on every visit. If you pick a language in the footer, we remember that under the name gl_choice so the automatic language routing respects your choice.
You can change your decision at any time. The Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page reopens the panel.
Google Analytics and Google Ads
Once you agree, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to measure which search terms and adverts bring guests to us and which pages they read. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We send no names, addresses or booking details. Google receives coarse location data, technical details about your device and your clicks on this site. Transfers to the United States are possible. Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses for this.
We use Google Consent Mode. Until you agree, Google receives only a signal with no identifier and no cookie. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
Booking through our booking engine
When you click Book, you move to ibe.sabeeapp.com. That booking engine is operated by SabeeApp Kft., based in Budapest, Hungary. You enter your travel dates and contact details there, and the SabeeApp privacy notice applies to that step in addition to this one.
We receive your booking details in order to prepare and invoice your stay. The legal basis is performance of the accommodation contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
As an accommodation business in Türkiye we are required by law to report our guests' identity details to the authorities. This follows Turkish notification law no. 1774.
Contact by email, phone and WhatsApp
This website has no contact form. You reach us by email, phone and WhatsApp.
If you write to us on WhatsApp, the message travels through WhatsApp Ireland Limited, part of the Meta group, and their terms apply to that route.
We use your message and contact details to answer your enquiry. We keep the correspondence for as long as the enquiry and tax retention periods require.
Links to other providers
The footer and some pages link to Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps, Tripadvisor and Booking.com. We embed no content from them, so those providers learn nothing about your visit unless you click the link.
On the yoga page we name our partner agency Tamarisk Tourism Travel Agency, TÜRSAB licence 2337. If you book a retreat through the agency, their own notice applies there.
Photos and videos on this site sit on our own server. No fonts, maps or videos are loaded from third-party servers.
Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing and object to its use. Consent you have given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
Write to info@grenadinelodge.com. As a business in Türkiye we fall under the Turkish data protection act KVKK no. 6698. For guests from the European Economic Area we also apply the rules of the GDPR.
You may complain to the Turkish data protection authority KVKK or to the supervisory authority where you live.
Changes
We update this notice when our technology or processes change. The version in force is always the one on this page.
